From joining in to help with our new, weekly neighborhood food pantry, Heart to Table, or participating in a small group study, to volunteering to be screened and help with TotsZone or  children's and youth programs, or  our Circle of Friends as they make muffins and play games.  If you want to help with  Sundays, you may contribute with gifts of singing or playing an instrument, reading scripture, greeting worshippers, or providing snacks and coffee. There are many ways to get involved, find friendship and community, and love with the heart of Jesus at Open Heart!

For over 65 years, Open Heart UMC (formerly South Maple United Methodist Church) has impacted thousands of members in the Rapid City community and beyond. That impact comes through things as simple as sharing food or hygiene items through the Free Little Pantry,  to working toward international mission projects through our onsite Solar Ovens Reflector Workshop. The people of Open Heart hear the call to serve as Christ asks: with non-judgement and open-hearted compassion.
